2026 Winter Westwood Basketball Skills Center
Dates: Sunday, January 11th-March 15th (No Sesson on 11/18 & 2/15)
Volunteer timeframe: 10:30am-11:30am
Location: Downey Elementary School
250 Downey Street #1, Westwood, MA 02090
Volunteer Role: provide personalized support to athletes aged 6-12, guiding them through introductory basketball skills and familiarizing them with the sport through stations and drills.
Volunteer Notes: A lead volunteer is still needed for this program. The main responsibilities include:
managing equipment, taking weekly attendance, being the main point of contact with SOMA staff, and leading each session.
Volunteer Requirements: Volunteers must be able to commit to 75% of sessions
