From international competition to USA Games prep, Unified teams traveling coast to coast, athlete voices being heard, and friendships formed on and off the field, 2025 highlighted how inclusion creates moments bigger than medals.

Youth pathways expanded, Unified city schools multiplied, basketball returned, running opportunities grew, and participation surged 121%. Boston showed what’s possible when inclusive sports are built citywide.

Ashley, a dedicated Special Olympics athlete and advocate, is proud to join the 2024 Final Leg team! With a positive attitude and years of involvement, she aims to inspire others to join the cause.


Once a year, Special Olympics MA invites the coaches of the movement to come together for an overnight leadership conference where they can expand their education, interact with other coaches, and be celebrated by the organization.


This year’s Celebration of Inclusion took place on December 4th at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Library and welcomed Special Olympics Massachusetts community members from across the state.
