Boston and Lawrence schools are embracing Unified programming to break down barriers and help students discover strengths they didn’t know they had. Along the way, they're proving that inclusion can transform entire school communities!


A Roxbury Latin student partnered with Special Olympics MA to host an inclusive tennis clinic, breaking barriers and creating access. Athletes gained confidence, volunteers built connections, and everyone left inspired.


Unified Sports united Will, Remy, and Rohan, turning teammates into friends. Their bond grew beyond the court, leading to a surprise Celtics game for Will—an unforgettable experience showing the power of inclusion and friendship.

Anne, a Special Olympics athlete out of Springfield, Massachusetts has had to overcome more obstacles in 35 years than most people do in their entire lives.


Erik Sampson went to Mount Wachusett Community College, and his favorite sport is hockey. Erik has been a Special Olympics athlete for six years, and is considered a versatile athlete.
