Boston and Lawrence schools are embracing Unified programming to break down barriers and help students discover strengths they didn’t know they had. Along the way, they're proving that inclusion can transform entire school communities!


A Roxbury Latin student partnered with Special Olympics MA to host an inclusive tennis clinic, breaking barriers and creating access. Athletes gained confidence, volunteers built connections, and everyone left inspired.


Unified Sports united Will, Remy, and Rohan, turning teammates into friends. Their bond grew beyond the court, leading to a surprise Celtics game for Will—an unforgettable experience showing the power of inclusion and friendship.

After a serious finger injury ended his flag football season, Matthew Cobb turned setback into strength. With hard work, OT, and support, he recovered and returned to play basketball in 2025—ready to take the field again for flag football.


After losing her mother in 2024, Special Olympics athlete Anita Griffin found comfort and strength in her Special Olympics family. Their support helped her excel, earning third place in bocce and top female bowler in the state.
