Matt has been involved with Special Olympics Massachusetts since 1998 when he started participating in basketball after high school. Since then, he has become a multi-sport athlete competing softball, volleyball, soccer, and basketball.


Unified sports takes students from the general population and students from the special education program and joins them together on the same sports team.


Students with and without disabilities at Palmer High School will soon be cooking and learning about nutrition together, thanks to a Special Olympics International Youth Innovation Grant.
