At the 2025 Annual Celebration of Inclusion, held at the Seaport Hotel in Boston, Special Olympics Massachusetts athletes, families, volunteers, partners, and supporters gathered from across the Commonwealth to reflect on an amazing year.


Nearly 150 Boston Polar Plungers from 15+ companies dove into icy Bear Force One, raising over $40,000 for Special Olympics MA. Thanks to Cisco Brewers, Boston PD, and the Bruins Foundation for making the day unforgettable!


A Roxbury Latin student partnered with Special Olympics MA to host an inclusive tennis clinic, breaking barriers and creating access. Athletes gained confidence, volunteers built connections, and everyone left inspired.

Peter Kline formed “Marathons With Meaning” to make running more accessible for individuals with disabilities. This year, Peter will run the Boston Marathon with Natick High School Unified Track athlete Yousef.


The New England PGA professionals were impressed with Special Olympics MA Athlete, Tyler Lagasse as he drove a beautiful ceremonial tee shot right down the fairway and asked him to join in on the action for the final round.


Mark Casey coaches the Dorchester Blue Devils basketball team, where he promotes inclusivity and works to expand Special Olympics programs in and around Boston.
