From marathon expansion and unforgettable Boston moments, to honoring Healthy Heroes and Diamond-level LETR success, 2025 showcased the power of community and how coming together through inclusion creates lasting impact.


At the 2025 Annual Celebration of Inclusion, held at the Seaport Hotel in Boston, Special Olympics Massachusetts athletes, families, volunteers, partners, and supporters gathered from across the Commonwealth to reflect on an amazing year.

Beth Donahue has been a part of the Special Olympics for 20 years. Her motto is “Try new things and challenge myself whenever I can”.


Amanda Church is a Special Olympics athlete with the LIFE Program on the Cape. Amanda has been competing in Special Olympics for more than 15 years and currently competes in basketball, swimming, and soccer.


As a freshly minted Special OlympicsHealth Messenger, Beth will be helping to share wellness tips to make sure we are all staying healthy during and in-between sports seasons.
