At the 2025 Annual Celebration of Inclusion, held at the Seaport Hotel in Boston, Special Olympics Massachusetts athletes, families, volunteers, partners, and supporters gathered from across the Commonwealth to reflect on an amazing year.
Nearly 150 Boston Polar Plungers from 15+ companies dove into icy Bear Force One, raising over $40,000 for Special Olympics MA. Thanks to Cisco Brewers, Boston PD, and the Bruins Foundation for making the day unforgettable!

So far, there are a total of 23 BPS that have committed to being a Unified Champion School, and Special Olympics MA is excited to continue growing that number.
My family loves to get involved. I cannot remember a month without some sort of volunteer event or fundraiser. My mother calls it ‘Irish Charity’, and says that it is simply in our blood to do anything we can for those around us.
First inspired by a trend they saw on TikTok, high schoolers Emma Gavin and Rhiya Fisher decided not only to attempt the challenge, but they turned it into a fundraising opportunity for Special Olympics Massachusetts.
