On Saturday, March 17, 2018, Special Olympics Massachusetts hosted the 3rd annual Polar Plunge at the Yawkey Sports Training Center in Marlborough, partnering with the Marlborough Police Department through the Law Enforcement Torch Run.

Matt has been involved with Special Olympics Massachusetts since 1998 when he started participating in basketball after high school. Since then, he has become a multi-sport athlete competing softball, volleyball, soccer, and basketball.
